Biography

The Danish soprano Anette Signe Pedersen has recently had her debut with Helwige in Die Walküre, she has also performed the role of Suor Angelica and the Countess (Nozze di Figaro) in both Italian and Danish.

Throughout school she has portrayed such caracters as Agathe (Der Freischütz), Lucia di Lammermoor, Sophie (Werther) and Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), to mention a few, in opera excerpts.

Her soloist concerts includes Mozart’s Requiem, Fauré’s Requiem, Händel’s Messiah and Dvorák’s Mass in D Major. This summer she had her debut singing in Carnegie Hall. She has also performed at various Danish festivals.

Anette has received funding and scholarships from a.o. Makwarths Musiklegat, Foundation Idella, Augustinus Fonden and Danmark Amerika Fondet. Participant in numerous masterclasses in Europe and the USA.

In 2018 in a production of Der Ring des Niebelungen with Odense Symphony Orchestra working as an Assistant Stage Manager as well as in the chorus.

Anette Signe Pedersen is currently studying a postgraduate performance-class at the Danish National Academy of Music, after graduating a Masters Degree in classical singing at the same school, where she graduated with the highest honors.
